As a Backend Developer at Arissa India, You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our backend systems. You should have a minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in PHP, MySQL, PhpMyAdmin, and PostgreSQL databases, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API Development, WordPress, GIT
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications using PHP frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and procedures to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation, focusing on MYSQL, PostgreSQL and PhpMyAdmin.
- Perform database administration tasks, including monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting, to ensure optimal database performance and reliability.
- Possess strong skills in database design principles, including entity-relationship modeling, normalization, and database schema design. Understand how to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable database structures.
- Develop custom WordPress plugins, extensions, and themes to enhance website functionality and meet specific project requirements.
- Implement and maintain APIs for seamless integration with external systems and services, ensuring data consistency and security.
Skills Required:
- PHP Development: Strong proficiency in PHP programming, including experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Database Management: Expertise in managing and optimizing databases, specifically MYSQL, PostgreSQL and PhpMyAdmin, including data modeling, optimization, and administration.
- SQL and Database Optimization: Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
- Web Technologies: Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- WordPress Plugin Development: Experience in developing custom WordPress plugins and extensions, with knowledge of WordPress architecture and APIs.
- API Development and Integration: Familiarity with API development and integration, including authentication methods and data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML).
- Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, for efficient code management and collaboration.
- Problem-solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
